Do you ever just look at your pet(s)...

I wanted to name Mylo "Swarles Barkley" and call him Swarley, but my husband wouldn't have it. So I named him after the ginger kitten from Milo and Otis. It happens to mean soldier as well. Only name we could agree on.

Lily was named Barbie, and we wanted a name that ended in the same sound to help her adjust. She gets called Lill, Lilyphant, Lillers, etc.

It's a How I Met Your Mother reference. He refused to be caught dead calling Swarley in a park or field. Haha. I will one day name a dog Swarley.

We could have had Swarley and Lily! Haha.

This made me giggle at work! I got a harness for mine so she can go outdoors when I move and get used to it, but she is not a fan. I have a feeling she may be an escape artist if given the opportunity!
