... with apologies to everyone i've already asked this question of!
I normally mow my lawn for the final time in late October... then dont mow it again till Spring.
This year, my neighbour and i have been taking turns mowing the lawn (our lawns are joined up, with no fence)... but it was his turn in late October, and he didnt do it! I should have done it, but i kept thinking... its his turn, he will do it, but he never.
So now the grass is really long and looks ugly, but im afraid it's too late in the year to mow it. I think i heard that you are not to mow it after the first frost of the winter. It's not
terribly cold up here in my bit of Bonnie Scotland just yet, but we have been getting a wee bit of frost most nights.
Will i kill the lawn if i mow it and then there is a frost straight after?
