Good news everyone! We got a "YES" this time! after a refusal back in DEC 2017.

KFdancer, larrabee, ksand24 you are more experienced and knowledgeable than a solicitor! If it wasn't for you guys we wouldn't be able to get this visa! Honestly!

PRIORITY
Online application: 14 DEC
Biometric: 17 DEC
Documents recieved in Sheffield: 21 DEC
No " visa granted" email
Passport ready for collection email: 30 JAN
Passport collected with the visa: 31 JAN

27 working day !

I sincerely wish all those who are waiting will get their visas and reunited soon! Again, i honestly don't believe what they are doing is fair and correct. Its a shame my country Great Britain is trying to disrupt the lives of families. Our government MUST tackle the immigration issues here at home, instead of punishing honest, genuine, hard-working and law-abiding people like us!

I pray the universe for all those who are still waiting! Hang on tight there! I know if u deserve it you will get it! Support each other, don't let refusals dampen your spirits, and hit back harder!

Hello all,

I've been watching for a time. My husband and I had two previous refusals (for being in-country the first time and for finances the second—which we passed the first time according to the refusal letter). We used the forum to help us get organized for a third attempt. After that, I dropped out because I had to put some space between me and this seemingly insurmountable mountain of getting a spouse visa.

I've re-signed on with a new handle for a new year. :)

Here are our details:

Online application: 10 Dec 2017
Biometrics: 14 Dec 2017
Docs Received in Sheffield: 22 Dec 2017

Here's the good part:

Decision e-mail: 26 Jan 2018
Visa APPROVED: 29 Jan 2018!!!

I'm still shaking and can't believe I finally get to go home to my husband and dog.

Thank you to everyone out there for the support, the insights (even when I was only lurking), and the help putting it all together (especially ksand24, larrabee, and KFDancer). You all are the best!

Awesomeness!  ;0)

Hi All - Feel like I should share my timelines for the log. Plus, I have been stalking this page since day one.

We submitted our application on Jan. 15th, received in Sheffield on Jan. 16, decision email on Jan. 29th and today on January 30th, I got my passport with an approval back!

We did priority and it was a long 9 business days.

Thank you for all your help and advice along the way. Keep posting cause it does make a difference!

Excellent!  ;0)

19 business days for us now. Can't help but worry and obsess.

Would someone just mind confirming that the following is the "normal" procedure:

Email from VISAINFO.SHEFO (on the 9th Jan) stating our online application has been received and is being prepared for consideration.

Email from NEYOZVVisaInfo (on the 10th Jan) stating our application has been received by UK Visa's and immigration in New York (???) and is being assembled and prepared for assessment.

We've been confused about the New York e-mail for a while and thought it'd just be best to ask.
Online Application Paid and Submitted: 16th Dec 2017
Bio-metrics Appointment: 19th Dec
Supporting Documents Shipped: 20th Dec
Documents Received (as per UPS tracking no.) in Sheffield: 22nd Dec
Processing has begun E-Mail: 9th Jan 2018
Decision Made E-Mail: 19th Feb 2018 (30 Business Days)
Documents Returned: 21st Feb 2018 (Approved)
