So, I have just joined the wait.

Package should arrive on Monday 5th March.

Priority processing

Online Application: 25/02/2018
Biometrics: 02/03/2018
Package sent: 02/03/2018

We were so focused on getting everything ready on the inside, that we forgot to put priority processing on the outside - how big a deal will this make? 😐

Is the receipt for priority on top?  If so, it’ll be sorted into the correct pile.  Unfortunately it could be delayed getting into the correct pile (hopefully not).

Am I the only one who feels not many people (priority OR non-priority) received decisions in February?
I suppose I had high hopes that the last few days of the month would bring more 'decision made' emails than seem to have actually gone out.
Makes me think the wait is endless- that's certainly how it FEELS!

Excellent

It’s been 5 months of being separated for us and 9 weeks of waiting for an answer. We also thought February would bring some news for us. On the bright side I get to celebrate my mother’s birthday for the first time in five years. (It’s all about the positives to try not to have a break down)
Sending good vibes to everyone and hoping that we get some approvals this upcoming week!!

Monday thru Friday that is my mantra... Maybe tomorrow. Friday rolls around and I just keep saying maybe Monday. I really look forward to the day the wait is over and I'm there with my husband. Fingers crossed for everyone.

Fiancé and I always say, "today is one day closer." It's a lot to endure, but it's worth it. At least we are all fortunate enough to have partners who matter so such to us (and who care about us so much that they too are willing to be on this drawn-out, expensive, exhausting journey.)

Most of us in the non-priority thread got some form of an answer on the 19/20/21 of February and unfortunately, it was almost all refusals. I think I got the sole email asking for further documentation. That said, there were 4 of us who heard something, so not a log. I know that there were a few February decisions in here, but not many either. February was a pretty bad month in this forum for folks and visas. Hopefully March will be better for us all.

I've been away from my husband for about 4.5 months and have been waiting since November, so I feel you. I've had several pretty bad emotional break downs and I think that it's completely expected and allowed in this kind of a situation. If it were different and you were apart for 5 months with a date that you knew it would end, then it's easier. You have an end date. In this situation, we're all in limbo and none of us know when this ends. It's good to look for the positives, but you are totally allowed to feel like utter crap too - no one here will judge you for that.

This does make me feel better! Especially since I'm a Type A personality- I need dates, deadlines, and plans! 😂

Yes, of course. The good comes along with the bad and in this case I know we all understand how bad it can get. I've had a few mental breakdowns myself. I'm just so thankful for all of you on this forum. Those who are waiting and those who give us all that amazing advice. It makes this process just that much more bearable. Also, like JackS15 said we are all lucky that we have our loved ones who are waiting this out with us.

All this positively makes me feel good, yet still frustrated that they are making people that have every legal reason to immigrate go through such an ordeal. It doesn’t need to be like this. It also makes me feel very emphatic to people that have it much harder than us. Anyone that says immigration is easy can eat their socks.

If you look at the way they deal with a little show then it make sense how archaic they are with spouse visas. It’s like the government goes into shutdown over a little snow. My husband’s University has shut down, the local co-op is closed, over 2 inches of snow! Can you imagine in Denver or Minnesota shutting down all services over snow?! Come on now, suck it up and get on with your job!

I don’t know if this helps anyone else but mentally I see this as a 60 day countdown (though I know that it’s not a guaranteed number) It helps me be a bit less worried when I think ‘oh I won’t hear anything I still have 55 days to go’

MMHHMMM this is me despite the 'not been straightforward" email. I also have the Monday through Friday mantra that SouthernBetty has. This means there are only 15 BD's (technically) left for me to count (3 weeks woohoo!). There is no guarantee at this point that we will fall within that timeframe but I have nothing else to go on.

Hello ... new to this forum but read loads on here before my Scottish fiance and I decided to throw our hat in the visa ring.  So, I've joined the priority processing queue.
