Both myself and Southernbetty would like to formally announce the safe arrival of a decision has been made email on BD 62 at 11.22am. Both applicant and sponsor are overjoyed at this overdue news and thank everybody for their wishes and guidance through this process.

Now hoping for further good news Monday 🤞

We got our official approval!!!! Leaving in a week!!! That was a long nearly 4 months of waiting!!

just sent out application in on Tuesday 27th March. We need her passport back by latest mid-June for our travels later on. Fingers crossed! just the waiting game now :)

Yes. I am trying to focus on other things. My husband tells me to stop stalking the UKY forum to keep my mind off it, but it's hard! Also, this is our 2nd application since the 1st was rejected, so in total it's been 95 BD for us.

What's the entry time frame once they issue you a visa? I found an awesome fare (which is flex so I can change the date/get it refunded if necessary) but before this visa pack lands I'm nervous to book because I wasn't sure if they would indicate an entry time frame from say 2 weeks from now until next month.

You have to wait until you see your vignette to see which dates they gave you unfortunately. Then if it's a spouse visa you'll have up to 30 days to travel, depending on when it starts, or 6 months if it's a fiance visa.

Hopefully it’ll be valid immediately then.  But I would advise not booking until you’ve seen the visa AND verified the info is correct.  Unfortunately errors do happen.
