Ugh....now I’m worried we’re heading for a refusal because we had no request for the child’s IHS payment just the decision made email 😬

Wait, I thought you all didn’t have to pay for that because of armed forces?

No, that’s only for the spouse application because it won’t let you submit it without paying due to a glitch in the system. So you have to pay and then get a refund.

There’s another glitch that prevents you from paying the IHS for all child applications anyway, so you were able to submit that one without having to go through the payment and refund hassle.

I think with the glitch they wouldn't want you all to pay because that's an extra step, and they'd have to refund you anyway.

I wouldn't worry too much on that part, just try to hang in there!
