I have bad news... just received a generic email from Sheffield, confirming the receipt of my application. How on earth is it possible...????
I have submitted my documents on the 8th of March, they scanned it, and the status on TLS contact was Received by UKVI starting from 9th of March...
So does it mean I should start counting 12 weeks from today???!!!
Application#1(Fiance)
Bio-metrics Appointment and scan: 16th Nov
Documents Received in Sheffield email: 17th Nov
Decision Made E-Mail: 19th January 2018

Application #2 Spouse (from France)
Bio-metrics Appointment and docs scan 08 March 2018
Documents Received in Sheffield email: 05 April 2018
Decision made email from Visa center: 25 April 2018

For USA applications, the date is calculated from the documents received email.  As they can't do anything until they have our documents.

It is different for applications outside the USA though.  Your business days will be calculated from biometrics.

I understand the worry, but try to not let it bother you.

Congratulations to everyone that has heard! We have now been overtaken quite a few times (BD 36) so guessing it might be something to do with us, but who knows! We have decided to start counting to 60 then perhaps we are pleasantly surprised.

Fingers crossed for everyone whose passport is en route.

Katie! Dont worry at all! I think the email just got delayed because according to the TLS France website: "We aim to process Settlement Priority Visas within 30 working days from the date of your appointment at the UK Visa Application Centre."

That means that you have to count from the day of your biometrics, which is 8th March, no need to worry!

I would be happy if it was true @Sparklywater ... When I applied the first time, I received an email from Sheffield the next day. This time - in a month... Also last time my application wasn't processed within 30 days, it took 43 business days. I wouldn't mention that inside TLS Contact Paris it's everywhere written that it takes 15 business days for Priority Settlement visa...

Started an Excel file to count the # of BD's between "Sheffield received email" and "Decision email". If I couldn't find your "Sheffield received email" date then I either used Biometrics date or Mailed date. So the counter is not perfect.  :)

For those waiting for decisions, the counter is ongoing.

We're 4 in the March 26 club! Lol

Yay! Seems like I'm winning in the waiting game after Arynms and southernbetty/SOUTHERNBOY123 have been approved!
i think couple of more days and I'll reach a point that I stop caring and just go on about my life. Already there are moments that I forget about being in the process.

Forgetting about the entire process is the best thing you can do for your health!   ;D

Hi Everyone

I have been looking over everyone's timelines and thought I would add mine in since most of the time I've just been lurking.

Type of Application:  Settlement Spouse Visa (Priority)
Country applying from:  USA
Nationality:  US Citizen
Online application submitted:  14-March-2018
Biometrics and package sent:  19-March-2018
UPS Delivery of Package: 21-March-2018
UKVI receipt of application: n/a
Decision made email: n/a
UPS return of passport: n/a

I was just seeing if anyone had experience on not receiving an email from home office that they have received the documents?  From what I see everyone gets it about 1-3 days after UPS says they delivered and for me its been over 2 weeks and still haven't received anything.  The only email I have received was the one saying they received the online application and to send supporting documents or ignore if you already did send.  I received that email the day my supporting docs were received (according to UPS).  I just feel paranoid since I did submit priority as well and feel like it could have been misplaced?
