Not sure if I should ask this here, but I saw someone mention on a different thread that we are not meant to deface the bank statement/payslips at all. We highlighted the payments to make it clear the exact amount on the payslip was paid into the bank account. Will this cause problems?...

i put post it notes on the pay stubs indicating the bank statement number (bank statement numbers were put in removable tabs, so you could find them quicker) and the date of the deposit. these are all easily removed, so i figured that would help without altering the documents.

does anyone else REALLY hate the weekends during this wait? here are two whole days of waiting with no progress at all 😡

You are not supposed to do that but undoubtedly they will see it for what it is and not an attempt to alter the content.  :)

I'm right there with you, (we're waiting for my husband's naturalisation application to process) the long Easter break was the worst!  ;D

I absolutely hate the weekends. At least during the Easter my husband was here, and we were together. Now on Wednesday it will be my birthday and I will be alone...

my fiancé’s birthday is in the 19th. his dad’s birthday would have been last week (his dad hung himself last summer). poor guy has been alone for 2 weeks now going nuts. luckily the birthday gifts i ordered him arrived super early, so he got them a couple days ago... but still, this is super hard on both of us.

i’m stuck here with my awful dad who won’t let me sleep in the house, so i’m on a cot in the garage. as if the wait wasn’t stressful enough on both of us without life being a dick too :/

hugs to all still waiting!!!!

Amazing news!!! Congratulations!!!!  I sent my application in about a week and a half after you, so this is really uplifting news!!

I completely agree with the rest of you, being apart from your partner is terrible and definitely weighs on you more each day.. my husband and I have been married for about 6 months and we have only spent 2 of those months together.. so frustrating, but it will all be worth it in the end.  It's news like this that can lift your spirits and keep you powering through to the next day with high hopes of positive progress.  Congrats again, @ Kristinaty!  enjoy your reunion with your partner!

Hang in there everyone!  <3

Is April too early for them to start working weekends? You know, create a buffer against any summer backlog...be proactive!  ::)

I highlighted each pay entry on my bank statements i supplied for the financial aspect and no questions were asked.
