Priority Spouse Visa FALL Timeline (Oct-Dec)

Including our first failed application, it has now been a total of 104 BD for our family. Granted my husband visited us for 3 weeks in March to celebrate our son’s 2nd birthday, I just want some normalcy back in our lives. No more of this long distance! It is so hard not to feel depressed during this limbo period

I really feel for you.  I am only at day 40 and feel like it is eternal.  I wish I had some encouraging words but try to focus on the long-term picture.  I know that doesn't help the here and now but it will all work out in its own time.  I truly hope you hear something this week.

It’s very hard. Today’s my birthday and I’ve done nothing but cry all weekend because it’s yet another birthday we are spending apart.

Hoping this is over soon for all of us!

I feel you on this so much. I cried on my husbands last birthday too. Now that we're actually together I'm feeling like we need to do something special on birthdays and I've always hated them! (weird family, and not many close friends so they were usually forgotten.)

Keep the faith, it will be over soon and hopefully there will be no more apart! *virtual hugs*

@KristieP2018 , i felt absolutely the same last week... it is really tough waiting... taking into account our rejection, we are waiting since 16th of November...

I stopped my business operations, because I didn’t know how long I would stay here, and decided not to have any further commitments for clients and employees, as it is difficult to make anyone redundant in France quickly.

Now I am just waiting. It makes me absolutely depressed, as soon as I used to be very active while working, and now there is an absolute emptiness. I am not motivated to search for any job easer, because I don’t know if we get the visa this time or not.

Correct!  Bummer that it's taken so long, but I'm sure you are pleased to have the email.  :)

Oh goodness yes I’m so happy to have the email! This process seems so random once the paperwork gets to Sheffield, so I’m not totally surprised it’s taken so long to arrive. The end is almost in sight 😀

Same here. I quit my nursing job a couple of weeks ago. I don’t know what I’d do if it doesn’t come through soon. I saved a lot preparing to not be working for a bit. But going from being so active to this is beyond depressing.

Soon I keep saying...soon

Yes, me too!  My husband and I were living in India for my work until July last year, then I went and visited him in the UK for a few months before coming home to apply.  So I've been out of a job since July, laying the groundwork for starting a small business once I make it to the UK, but as of now I'm in limbo.  I can't wait to get there so I can start my life!
