Question... I will be at work tomorrow and I will probably miss the delivery of the package.  I plan to leave a note on my door with my signature on it asking them to leave the package... does anyone know if UPS will accept this??  I would hate to have it go back to be redelivered over and over when it's SO close to being here.
THAT'S GREAT!!! You had the non Vacation person! :p
Shoot- I'd take the day off. seriously.

What time do the emails usually come? I know, I know... I'm that impatient. I can't focus on anything.

I got the Decision Has Been Made email on BD 15!!!!  It came yesterday and the tracking number tells me the package should be delivered tomorrow.  I am so nervous and anxious to see what the results are. I will NOT be able to sleep tonight!! All of the work I've done for over a year seems to be dangling in my face.  I can't describe the feeling I have inside right now.  I am going crazy with anticipation.

Hang in there March 26 crew! Hopefully this is the one that will get the ball rolling for everyone.  If anything at least this tells you they're working over there!

Congratulations!

Mostly UPS just dumps the package without a signature. But remember, all of your most important documents are in that package so if you are not going to be there, it might be better to call them and see if you can pick up or have it delivered to your work address.

I looked back (and yes this is how obsessed I've been) and anywhere from 830 to 430 GMT time. So I'm in Central Time zone and if I haven't heard by 1100, I give up for the day.

Hoping ours comes back from their extended holiday this week  ;D

I remember when DH was coming over here.. there was a snow storm and the Vermont Service Center was closed for 2 days. This was a month 10 of the US greencard process, which was going faster than the K3 Visa for some odd reason. I wanted to drive up there and shovel the place out for people to get to work.

Haha yea, they finally decided to come to work.  And I was just on a little vacation myself, otherwise I would take the day off.

Congratulations!

Yeah, UPS often leaves things here without getting a signature too.. I will write the letter and ask him to leave it between the two door.  It will be safe here.

Our UPS leaves a note that says you can go pick up the package at their depot closer to the end of their business day. It’s like a 30-min window from 5:30-6pm (when the delivery trucks have come back to the depot for the end of the day). If you don’t pick it up then they will re-attempt delivery the next day.

If you call their 1800 number when the package has reached the US, they can hold the package for you at the depot or have the delivery address changed to your office address.

Thank you!  I just called the 1-800 number and apparently in their system the package isn't marked as requiring a signature, even though in my email from the UK Gov it says it will be.  I will go with what UPS tells me, leave a note on the door and hope for the best!

You will all be getting updates tomorrow and I hope to hear some from all of you!!
