Thanks! I might give that a go. Only problem is the center is 2 hours away from me so if it fails that’s one heck of a long day for nothing.

In that case you're probably best just waiting! But if you get really antsy, you can always give it a go!   :)

Good luck!

If you want, you can try walking in earlier than your appointmentS several of our members have been successful in doing that and it'll get the ball rolling quicker on your application!  :)

My centre saw me early. No questions asked whatsoever. Except to make sure I had the biometrics receipt and my passport.

Yeah, we've not seen anyone turned away yet but there is always that chance.   :)

Yay! Congrats Brian1010014!

I was thinking about all the things I will miss in California once we move to the UK. So today my son and I did a very Californian thing and enjoyed lunch at In-N-Out Burgers. He loves fries (chips) just like mum!

In n out is always the first port of call when my son visits from England! Think we should bring it to Blighty when we all get over there!

You are lucky, I don’t have appetite. I am worn out by this limbo situation.
We don’t have a plan if we will be refused second time either...

Is there a way you can get another passport? I can get my Italian passport through my great grandfather.
Can he move to France?
There’s always a backup plan, you just have to see through the fog

Based on what we know, we 100% believe Katie’s first refusal was incorrect.  Her husbands MP has been fighting in their corner to get answers.  Hopefully they will get clarification from UKVI at some point.  If NOTHING else, hopefully they get their correct approval this time.

And it's because of this that we realise just how extra difficult it is for Katie right now.
Think of the kitty Katie!  :D
