Thanks everyone! Been an emotional day of crying out of relief and excitement. So glad we made it!

Woohoo!  When do you fly?

Should be booking my flight tomorrow - aiming for two weeks from now so I can pack and make the rounds seeing family before I go. My vignette starts this Thursday so should be leaving around the halfway mark before expiration.  ;D

Congratulations Kay! Very thrilled for you! Our documents were received on the same day so was excited when I was that you got an email on Friday. I woke up to an email on Monday but my documents don't look like they will arrive until Thursday. I'm so ready!

Another week gone by and still no word on my husband's visa. What is worrying me most is the fact that we never received the 'application received email' . Our solicitor reached out to the Home Office to ask them if it was being processed and he got the generic response of 'call this number that charges X amount or email this address which charges X amount'. I have read on here that paying to call is a pointless exercise.

Do you think it is worth me contacting the local MP for some help? All I want to know at this point is that they at least have our application, and it is not lost in some mail room gathering dust. My husbands biometrics took place on 30th May and UPS tracking states it arrived at the Home Office Friday 1st June. We paid for Priority. Is this too early days?

Our son was up three times in the night crying for his Daddy (he is 2). This is absolutely breaking my heart. I can barley function at this point with worry. I'm sure you can all relate.

If your tracking shows that UKVI have your application - they have your application.  Promise.  In all the years I've been on this board, not once has an application not been processed and lost.  What date did they receive the application and did you apply priority?
