It's a very tough visa to receive, I'm afraid. Legal representation would have been the best approach. Not even taking into account the prior overstay.
I take it you are no longer with the child's mother?
Big hugs, hopefully it is approved.
Yes, that is very true. I am no longer with my child’s mother. We been together for over a year before she gave birth to our daughter and things made us fall apart. But we want to have a co parent relationship. She wrote a affidavit giving me permission to access my child once I’m in the U.K. Hopefully the documents I provided for my application is enough for an approval.
You can see the overall of my immigration history if you want
https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/do-i-need-a-sponsor-when-applying-for-a-uk-parent-visa-t255679.htmlI made mistakes in the past while I was visiting the U.K. but I am a changed person but those mistakes came back to haunt me.
But congrats to all who received a decision email today. I am certain that you all will be approved. Also, thanks to everyone on this forum. The amount of support you guys give is amazing. I will keep you all updated once I hear back from UKVA.
Thanks!
