Why, yes I am!  ;D

There must be a post somewhere that discusses the levels... Just curious how many posts it takes to get to each level.  ;)

Then what is this?! A new email saying I'm approved from NYC?  I'm so confused. :( Is there anyone I can call? I hope it's true...

Fabulous!

Maybe they are starting to send the Gold applicants to NYC for processing which would VASTLY improve processing times!!!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

I hope so! It says I'd get another email from the VFC processing center (DC) saying it's ready to pick up although I have my passport and all documents with me already. So maybe tomorrow I'll get an email? I'll drive up at a minute's notice! Lol

If this is true, then 26 BD in the middle of summer is great. Maybe it'll actually be worth the money now? Woo hoo!

As thrilled as I'll be for anyone that did Gold if this is true, I'm gonna be super sad that I didn't. But it wasn't worth the risk. I do hope it's true! Fingers crossed!

Congratulations :D!

You'll get an email asking you to bring your passport to the VFS centre, because they have to put the 30-day visa vignette sticker inside the passport so that you can enter the UK.

I'll be honest, I would not be happy with 26 BD, because that seems like an extraordinarily long time for the price you're paying. I mean, you could pay half the price for the regular priority service and get it in 35 BD!

For the price you pay for Gold service, I would want a decision within maybe 5-10 working days at most.

When you put it that way, that's a good point.

Hey Jesod,

My acknowledgment email and non Straightforward email states that the application is in NYC instead of Sheffield. I mailed my application to Sheffield since it was a settlement visa. But I didn’t purchase gold. I purchased standard priority. I either received a glitch email or maybe some applications are randomly sent to NYC. If that’s the case then I love it  :) I guess the next email I receive from them will be just like yours with an answer that’s already in the email.  Also congratulations!!!

I hope so! It says I'd get another email from the VFC processing center (DC) saying it's ready to pick up although I have my passport and all documents with me already. So maybe tomorrow I'll get an email? I'll drive up at a minute's notice! Lol

Congratulations to everyone getting their visas this week ! Things seem to be moving again which is a good sign . We received the document acknowledgement email from Sheffield today so hoping for a 35-40 days turnaround , application is straightforward so not expecting any delays  ;D

Our timeline

Application Type: Settlement/Spouse Priority
Married: 07/06/18
Online application submitted: 21/07/18
Bio metrics appointment :  27/07/18
Docs sent (DHL): 06/08/18
Package arrived in Sheffield: 08/08/18
Application acknowledgement email: 15/08/18
Decision made email:  Pending
Yay! Crossing my fingers everything goes smoothly and quickly for you! Really hoping the priority is coming back with decisions within the 30-35 BD window I am only on BD 13. Still checking my email every day just in case lol even though I know it’s not going to happen this quick! Good luck with it all!
