Seen you're timeline makes me wish i had gone priority, but i didn't know that this backlog would clear quick enough and priority applications actually being processed quickly. I've applied from Islamabad as well. 7th September 2017 was Biometrics - standard application.

InshaAllah you will have the visa inside.

InshaAllah.... just waiting to be contacted to pick up passport now....
I did priority because they were taking 2 months and non priority much longer.....
32 BD is not bad at all...

I just hope we get the visa...

Thank you all for your kind words :]

Hang in there. We're having a rather successful week with emails, so I'm sure you're probably next in line! I have my fingers crossed for you :)

Thank You! I've just found out that both my husbands grandparents have cancer so I'm eagerly awaiting some type of news.

Anyone knows if UPS delivers on Saturdays?

I mailed my application in on a Friday and it arrived Monday morning(from California) and was moving on Saturday and Sunday so they definitely do ship on Saturdays! The UPS employee I spoke to said they didn’t ship on sundays but my tracking disagreed with him. $142 shipping is amazingly quick!

I’ve been pretty calm about the wait so far (although I have been busy trying to plan the wedding), but now that @HurryUpHO heard back I’m starting to get anxious! Starting to get really real having my date buddy get a decision email!

I hope you hear back soon @evyf!

Nope, the type of shipping used does not deliver on Saturdays.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I believe that to be correct. UPS internally probably does move packages from state to state on weekends, but actual delivery to houses I think is specialized for certain shipping types. And I don't think they do Sundays at all. Maybe during the holiday season but not normally.

While I didn't wake up to an e-mail, one just arrived a few minutes ago! (at around 3:05pm, UK time). I guess I'll know the decision shortly because an e-mail from DHL telling me that my package was on the way actually preceded my UKVI e-mail.

I know I don't know what the decision will be, but it's so, so nice to have some movement on this. My partner and I have both had intense work schedules the last couple of weeks and it's nice to have the weight of waiting off our shoulders as we go into the weekend. I've been able to keep pretty calm the last few weeks, but I was starting to not like weekends because they were 'waste' days that couldn't be counted towards working days. It was just so nice to be able to call him and say "well, whatever the decision is, it's made and we'll know SOON" instead of having him hopefully ask if I'd checked my e-mail only to have to say "you have no idea how often I check my e-mail [especially after about 12 business days had gone by] but there's still nothing."

I also know that my wait was incredibly short compared to what other people here have to go through and my thoughts are with everyone as we all wait it out!
