Contacted for collection today.... gonna collect on monday...

Just one last question....
If your visa is refused how long do they take to refund the IHS?

No refund as yet so very hopeful.

I arranged for pickup at the UPS center near me. Just picked it up. Phoned hubby as I opened the package. It’s an APPROVAL!!!

I am so happy, excited, relieved. Wow. We did it.

The 30 days will start from the ‘valid from’ date printed on your visa, which is normally the Intended Date of Travel that you put on the visa application, but recently they have been making the visa valid for 7 days before the date you put.

If the date you put has passed before the visa is issued, it will either be made valid from the date the decision is made, or for a date near that day.
