Hi everyone...

I'm 17 BD in. Had my hopes up high this week as one with a very similar timeline got approved. I hate to sound super spoiled which I know I probably do... as I know some of you have been waiting far longer than me already, for what seems like an eternity... but I'm kind of bummed seeing as it's the end of Friday and I've gotten nothing. My long distance relationship has been very challenging over the last couple of years. And I just want to be there already to take the pressure of this distance off. Morale is a bit low on both sides.

I wish I could understand the way this all works with the UKVI and their order/method of actually doing things but trying to understand it would be an exercise in futility. So I'm trying not to ask why. That being said, I know the reality is that I'm only 17 BD in and it may likely be another 17 BD before I hear a thing. I'm just scared. And nervous. And feel like I could throw up. What if it is another 40 BD? Or it could be next week? Or maybe it will be refusal? I hate feeling this way. I've never done well with the unknown.

Sorry, I just needed to vent because I'm sad and I miss my husband and stepdaughter. I don't really have anyone else to talk to about it all. And I know you all understand. You're the only ones who do.

Hugs to everyone else going through it too!

Hey @MrsMagpie ! I've been thinking about you! I've been taking a break from this site, as my husband banned me from it because I was worrying about our application too much haha. It was probably for the best  ::).... we're on the exact same timeline. So I'll be checking in here to see when you get yours! I feel you on this!! I definitely have my good and bad days. I get so scared about it sometimes. I'm so ready to be done with this separation and start to be normal newlyweds! I hope you're doing well today. hopefully we will both hear happy news in the next two-three weeks maybe?!  FINGERS CROSSED xx

Hi!!! Yes, I've had my hopes up greatly for this week. I can understand why you took a break. I actually thought of doing the same because I'm kind of obsessing. But, it actually encourages me when I see other people get their approvals. Trying to put a positive spin on it!

I have thought about you as well. I know you know just how I'm feeling. And I'm hanging in there. Hope you are too! It's gonna be good news for us soon! I believe it!  ;D

Tell me about it! I wake up hopeful each day but my hopes are quickly dashed. I've seen a few others with similar timelines here and in other forums get theirs recently. It feels like such a tease!! Ugh!

It has been so nice checking in on the forum everyday to see everyone's updates.

I'm now 17 BDs in, and I'm feeling so hopeful for you @MrsMagpie and @CarlyAmerican4 that you will hear back tomorrow or the coming week! ...which is slightly selfish because I expect my decision email will come a few days after yours haha

To those who have been waiting way longer than us, stay strong! Best wishes to you that you receive that special email soon!
