Got our decision made email this morning!!!! I think it’s been around 27 BD since the date of the biometrics appt and 32 since our application was submitted.

We applied priority gold (a scam, don’t do it, but trying to move on with my life), what can I expect to happen next?

And why don’t they tell you the decision in the email!!!! There is no consideration of your feelings AT ALL in this process.
Application submitted: 15 August 2018 (settlement gold)
Biometrics & Docs sent: 22 August 2018
Application received email: 13 September 2018
Decision made email: 2 October 2018
Entered UK: 25 October 2018
FLR(M) application submitted: 29 March 2021
Biometrics done: 26 April 2021
FLR(M) decision made email: 13 May 2021

Hi everyone!!

Congratulations on your quick approvals. I am preparing to leave the UK back to Los Angles to reapply for a spousal visa that I mistakenly let expire. SUPER LONG story. I have a british husband (4 years married) and 2 british (born) children. Who I am now having to take back with me. There is no way I would leave them behind. Anyway, I am wondering if these quick approvals were done all with priority?

I do plan to do priority but just wanted some confirmation.

Best wishes,
Chudney

Yes, this is the priority timeline thread.  Been running 30+ business days for priority (six weeks from "we've received your application email."

Non-priority is usually right at 60 business days.

A long time ago, the email used to tell you the decision, but it has been changed to a generic response that is sent to everyone (I want to say that the change corresponded with applications being processed in Sheffield, but don't quote me on that).

We don't have many people who have applied using the gold premium service so we don't have a plethora of firsthand accounts of what happens next, but according to one applicant, the application centre called the next day to inform what the decision was.

Thank you! Thanks so much for you help and your encouragement along the way. I don't know what I would of done without this forum!! Thanks to everyone else who helped me with the application and just for chatting with me to get through this! You know who you are! It truely meant a lot!

Flights :)...  Depending on prices, I might look to meet up with my hubby somewhere else this weekend and then go there together on Monday to enter with my visa. I know that sounds crazy but we've waited long enough! Otherwise, I will definitely try to fly by next Friday!  The hubs has to work during the week so I want to come over there on a weekend. So TBD!!
