flight booked to finally be home with my hubby in London....November 30th! So happy and sad all in one. Leaving behind loved ones is not easy. But the fact I’ll be with my husband for Christmas and beyond is an absolutely wonderful feeling.

I know the exact feeling. I booked the 24th so i am able to be here for thanksgiving. It’s not easy but you’ll keep in touch!! ♥️

Has anyone ever flown Norwegian? It was so cheap! $219 one way hope it’s nice!

Fantastic news!  Unfortunately I don’t think the package will move until Monday at 5pm UK time but hopefully I’m wrong!

I haven’t flown Norwegian. But I booked my flight with them as well. I splurged and got the business class so I can be comfortable (I hope) and check 2 bags. Ever since I heard about them a month or so ago I’ve tracked their flight out of my area to London and they are always very consistent and no cancellations. So it seems good.

Norwegian is pretty good for a budget airline.  New planes, great staff and good entertainment on board.

I hope that's true! Every weekend they work shaves 2 days off our wait times. Where did you get the info that they're working weekends to clear the backlog?

I just heard.

Not sure if they are working EVERY weekend and if they are how many people are working etc, but with it being very busy I'm sure they'll be working weekends. People have been getting decision made emails on weekends which indicates they are working and processing applications.

Yes! I fly with Norwegian all the time to Los Angeles from London Gatwick. The 787 Dreamliner is a great aircraft - very new and more environmentally friendly than most other planes. They've got a good range of fairly new movies, TV shows etc on their seat-back IFE (In Flight Entertainment). It has a USB port under every screen so you can charge your phone and apparently there's international plug sockets under every seat, although I've never had much luck finding them on the 787.

I did see a few people on their laptops connected to them on my flight back from Los Angeles in September - I believe it's under the centre seat in the row of 3 seats.

Never had a problem with them though. Their European flights are fairly cheap too, and their planes have free Wi-Fi! It looks like they're building it into the 787s, but don't quote me on that. To clarify, there's no Wi-Fi on the international flights. Only European.

When my wife flies back at some point next week (pending visa ;) ), she'll be flying with Norwegian too.

Hey guys!

Still waiting nervously on my passport being delivered to find out whether I've been accepted! Just curious if there is any indication in the decision made email. What have the other emails stated? Are they all just generic? Some places state that they have minor differences but I'm not sure if that goes for the spouse visa as well? I know "just wait and see" but the suspense is killing me!

Generic email.  You won’t know until you open the envelope unfortunately.

Whoever decided the decision made email should not tell you the decision is a sick twisted individual haha!

My tracking shows I won't receive it until Thursday which feels like a lifetime away.  :\\\'(

Here's hoping @evyf and @Escouhmanduh get their emails in the next couple of days...perhaps tomorrow?!

Hi Everyone!

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi...see how the October and onward folks are making out with their visas!

For a good laugh and something to look forward to in and amongst all the bureaucracy.... when you all make it over, you will have to call to get an application for an NI number sent to you. The folks at the job centre hotline are some of the most pleasant people I've encountered in my life. The guy I spoke to a few days ago was literally whistling, singing, and cracking jokes while he was taking down my info.

SUCH an improvement over the Home Office ridiculousness!!  :D
