Someone in one of the FB group just started a doc this morning/last night. I had a word doc put together, but it hard to use in a forum setting. A nice setup was one that Visajourney had for those coming from outside of the US to join their SO here in the US.

Hey guys, as we actually just finished my husband's US citizenship in September before launching into this journey, I had been posting/updating on Visajourney with his timeline for a few months. I'll post the basic format they had, but edited to be relevant to this process! Not positive I included everything for self-upload, feel free to edit. I don't have time atm to go back through and fill out everyone's dates unfortunately, so please copy/paste and fill in your own if you want :) The thread I was in on Visajourney was very meticulous about keeping entries in the table organized by original date submitted, regardless of when the person posted in the forum about their timeline. It made it much easier to comprehend!! That would be my recommendation here too, or maybe even by biometrics date since that's when the countdown really begins in a way.

Bit of info on the refusal. They had gotten an email asking for the supporting docs (For whatever reason NY didn't scan them over from what i've gathered). They were told they had 7 days but then got the refusal letter sooner than that. But she states she did provide the docs yesterday. They are advising her to request an admin review. Still sucks though.
Even when life seems at it's most dark and despairing.. there is within the power to make change.

Her case is weird, she needs an administrative review. They requested some documents from her, gave her 10 days to submit. She submitted in 2 days and she got refusal based on the documents she did not submit (which she did), but she is still within the 10 days.

Haha  ..we are lurkers on FB. I'm sure it's their error she need to fight for an administrative review.

@aliceinchains3 Do you know if your package has left NY yet? I keep tracking my UPS label and it hasn’t been scanned.

I know it’s only been a whopping 27 hours (not that I’m counting) since I got my email, just wondering if you’ve seen anything!

They will email you if they need anything. I'm just wondering how me and my kids application will be scanned under this new system. I sent 3 application and 3 appendix 2 but one set of evidence.

If it helps, I’ve been hanging around here for 6 years and only once have we seen an incorrect refusal.  And that involved a non-American applying from France.  I’ve never seen an incorrect refusal for a US application.  My gut is there is probably more to the story.  There usually is.  But direct them here and we can help them sort it.

Well I'm beyond nervous now. Quick recap - I had never gotten anything from them saying they received my materials (although of course I did check the UPS tracking number and it was signed for at reception). My husband enlisted the help of his local Parliamentary official who was told on the phone that they had all my documents and were doing a second check. Then, on the 28th of November, he received an email that said "as soon as we have received her documents we will progress her application to the next process." They sent the same email to me. Am I crazy or did they just contradict themselves?

Regardless, it's not looking too good for this lady.

On the bright side, that Parliamentary guy got that answer in less than a day so that's a politician actually doing his job which is nice to see!

Visa Type: Spouse Visa
Priority Service: Yes (not through VFS)
Online app submitted: 9/25/18
Biometrics & docs sent: 9/26/18
Application delivered in NY: 9/27/18
Application received email: Never received email. Wrote to them 11/7/18 and they wrote me back 11/8/18 with the standard "I can confirm that your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision." Cost me $7 for that email but gave me a tiny, tiny, tiny peace of mind for a day.
Decision made email: TBA
Passport received: TBA

Mine doesn't appear to have left the building either....
