We got sick in stages, which is good for us, but it's been an entire week. I'm just getting over it now. Hopefully I can return to work tomorrow.

I hope so... I know that sucks for you. All I’ve caught is a bad cold... I think the stress has caught up with us all

The emails are now rare commodity. It's a hit or miss. I havent received one as yet, but I did take the suggestion of this group and filed a complaint. They responded today with another email address and told me to include my GWP #. Maybe they will let me know  something.

Where did you file the complaint?
ukvi.feedback.usa@vfshelpline.com- this is where they told me to send my GWP#

I initially used the link posted in this group. They responded and told me to send to email address above.

So if you want to just voice a complaint use the address above. I feel like if enough of us complained, we might get treated better, this might also save us a few bucks from emailing.

And that complaint was about not receiving an email from Sheffield when they received your documents?

Thanks!

I made a complaint about the suite # and with that comes uncertainty of where my documents where delivered. Also wrote I've had zero communication and not sure where my docs are.

Do you know how we count the wd now? Is it from application, biometrics or the day ny received our docs?

Not sure how it's being calculated since the switch.  But it won't be from biometrics date - as that's variable and not everyone sends their documents straight after.  At a minimum it'll be from when it's received in NYC, versus the old calculation of received in Sheffield.

All other countries do biometrics when they submit their documents.  The USA is unique in that biometrics are done before the application is submitted (formally).

Yeah I sent mine on the same day, it didnt get there until the 19th because of the storm. I'm thinking that's the most realistic date to start my count.

What travel date did you request and what was given?  Always good for us to have a gauge on these.  :)
