I woke up to a decision made email! I'm fairly certain it is a yes. We've only had one person receive a refusal that I've seen under the new system and she said she received an email detailing her refusal. This would make sense as it seems they are trying to move to a mostly digital format with US applications, so I am cautiously optimistic!

That’s great!! When did you apply? I never received an initial email from Sheffield so hopefully they send me a decision made email. Also, does anyone know how I can look up my prepaid UPS label? At least I can try and track the return. I’m anxiously waiting for my email.

When was her first refusal? Just to clarify, they gave the refusal in her decision e-mail and stated why she got refused?

If you have the pdf of the labels (if bought online), they should have the waybill number on them, so you could type it in and see if its been shipped.

No idea - I've just done a Google search and I cannot find any information about what dates UKVI Sheffield is open over Christmas.

Remember, UKVI is only one division of the Home Office. It may be that the "Home Office" in general  has closed dates over Christmas, but that doesn't mean that the visa processing centres are closed on those dates.

where did you hear that? I just looked at the UKVI website and it says closed Dec 24-26 and January 1. That would really suck for the rest of us waiting if it's longer.

Saw it on another thread, I'm hoping it's not true. That would be a really long time, especially for me who decision is suppose to be made by December 28th.

Pretty sure it's not true. They usually only close on the 25th and 26th December and 1st January.

I've never heard of them closing completely over Christmas.
