yeah we had paperclips in the application. no staples.
So my theory is that they aren't scanning the things with clips. I used to work in the scanning department at the IRS and anything that came in with staples and/or paperclips went to a different department for manual processing. The scanning department literally just feeds all loose docs into the scanner at one time. I read in another group that someone who recently had to send in their financial docs for a second time to UKVI got their original paperwork back in the mail with the paperclip still intact. It's just a theory, but I suspect that because the VFS website sets the guideline of no staples or clips for those using the premium service, this is what is happening!

Yeah that sounds about right, but it's what we were advised to do, but I guess with the change of the new system to NYC, this caused this issue. Ugh!

So we have photocopies of everything thankfully, so should we just need to scan them in and send them off.

The only thing is that it is easy for me to get pdf's of my bank statements, but they won't be stamped. So should we just send the photocopies? even though they're black and white?

Photocopies are accepted. You know what is the funny part of all this, you will get your entire packet back in tact.

But you might have a decision in 36 hours or less. So that's the exciting part.

Hi everyone!
I received my decision made email. It took just under 48 hours from when I sent off the requested documents.
They said in the email my passport is on its way to me. Hoping this is a good sign.? I’m so ready for me and my boys to be back in our home with their daddy (hubby) :D.
 Hope everyone hears back soon.

Yeah its pretty much our entire application that didn't get scanned!

Should we just resend all we put in our application?
If it were me, I would only resend only what they asked for as to not confuse them ....any more than they seem to be ::)

Yeah which is crazy, especially since we will end up sending probably 7 e-mails of stuff.

Heres one query, with the bank statements, I had to get my October statement printed in the bank as a 'customer statement' as i get mine on the 10th of every month, which would have delayed getting the application sent off. All my other statements are formatted in portrait, but the october is in landscape and is basic in text and format. October shows all transactions, stamped and has a cover letter showing my information and address.
What I am wondering is should we now just send the ones from my nationwide online portal? But the issue is they wont be stamped or match the ones in NYC.

Just thinking of ease, but also consistency across format of statements. But don't want it looking weird what NYC have and what Sheffield have.

cheers Kelks. Here's hoping they don't think its weird with October being formatted differently  :(

But we have a letter from nationwide stating all their authenticity as well as being stamped
