Priority Spouse Visa FALL Timeline (Oct-Dec)

Howdy folks!

Sorry for the radio silence, but it’s been a stressful few days.

I arrived in Minnesota and we were awaiting our package. UPS decided to deliver it to nearby Duluth, which is no where near Hovland!! It was insane. And extremely stressful.

Thankfully we were in duluth and with the help of the UPS Store we were able to track it down. We were scared that the residents to where it was delivered went away for the holidays, but they returned it to a local UPS Store.


And we got APPROVED!!!


Thanks to everyone’s help especially @ksand24 @larrabee @KFdancer @margo through mine and Maria’s questions.

Without you guys and this forum, we would’ve overpaid on a solicitor and without common support and love.

We ain’t going anywhere so we will be sticking round and help where we can.

We love you all. Xxx

Yeah we just couldn’t believe it. Of all the packages.

I head back on the 30th and she will join me probably mid-January 

Well everyone, guess who got their decision made e-mail!!!!! On a Saturday no less. Strange eh? Maybe I will make it over for Christmas!!

I wanted to share my UK Spouse Settlement Visa timeline with you. In the spirit of the holidays, I think we could all use a little extra warm wishes and cheer, especially from a peer group of strangers!

Priority Spouse Online App Submitted : 23 November 2018
Biometrics appointment : 4 December 2018
Docs sent to NY : 7 December 2018
Doc received in NY : 10 December 2018
Docs received in Sheffield email : 11 December 2018
Decision made email received :  TBD
Visa received : TBD

I have been following many forums over this journey and have found this one to be the most informative and supportive! Thank you for allowing me to have a 'look-see" over the last few months. I look forward to sharing more with you all!

Wow, a docs received email a day after they arrived in NYC... That's definitely record breaking timing!!!

After breaking down and paying for the email due to if anything came to my trash folder I keep it all clear without looking ... anyway, I did get the generic email saying they’ve received my documents.. that made me feel better

It just kind of hit us that this is our 1st Christmas apart in awhile, we always travel and have our own little traditions.
