.Fantastic news!! We are still on track to file on March 1st. It cannot get here fast enough.

Question, how long can an application sit online before it has to be submitted? We are thinking of creating the account and start going through it come first of January, so we can ask any questions ahead of time if we get stuck. :)
120 days after that it becomes inactive, mine did and I had to do them over.

Thank you! Can’t even express how thrilled I am to be heading back to Scotland.

I’ll be up in Elgin for the next few months before we move down to Glasgow. So I’ll be in your neck of the woods!
I will also be in Glasgow as soon as I am approved (fingers crossed)!

Thanks Kelks. That is what I thought. We will only be doing ours approximately 60 days early. :)

Spouse Visa document requirements
« Reply #5134 on: December 29, 2018, 07:49:17 PM »
Hello again all - with the benefit of your help my fiancee arrived on her 6 month fiancee visa on 4 November, and our dog Maddie has been here since the 5 November. We are getting married on 12 January, and of course our thoughts are now turning to the spousal visa we will need in April. We will have our marriage certificate and photos from the wedding, but I am wondering what else we will need? I've seen the list of documents Ksand24 has helpfully provided for spousal visas where the applicant is outside the UK, but presumably this will be a bit different. I understand we will need at least some utility bills in our joint name, as evidence that Cyn is living here with me. And of course the evidence of income as before. All help much appreciated.

p.s. I've added a picture of Maddie the dog  to make this post more interesting for everyone else! She's a rescue dog, originally from Kansas, now living in leafy Berkshire.

What a beauty!  :D

The financials and accommodation evidence will be the same,  just updated as necessary. For the relationship evidence, you need mail in both of your names, either 6 joint or 12 individually addressed or a combination of both. If you can't provide that much, you need to supply a letter explaining why not.

Awesome!  If she has a desire to meet-up with other Americans, have her search Facebook for “Americans in Wokingham and Reading”.  We are a local meet-up group.  Several members of the meet-up group are on this board.

*waves* hi neighbour!

You may want to start a new thread for your FLR(M) application. Many of the requirements are the same or close to the same, but you do need mail to show you've been living together and updated financial evidence.

49WD for us, and still nothing since the request for additional documents two, three weeks ago.
I've gone past sad to actively quite angry with them - the hell are they doing?

Have you written to confirm that they received the docs? I would start there, and if you applied priority follow up with your MP. There were 2 holidays this past week here, and NYD next week, so decisions over the past week have likely slowed a bit. The standard processing time is around 60wd for all applications.
