You'll get there guys, just hang on a little bit longer!

Once this all goes through, it'll be a very small part of your amazing journey ahead in life!
@adamb1026 When you emailed Sheffield the "missing" documents requested you had to send more than one email, correct? I sent them three emails today and only got one auto confirmation back. I did try to respond to that auto confirmation as I've seen that other people have been able to get through and confirm all emails were received that way, but I haven't gotten any response to that yet. What was your experience with it and how quick was the turnaround? BTW, I f**king HATE this!!!!!

I dont think it's an instant confirmation, but I have seen people say that a person will respond.

Atleast you know they are working on your application actively, people who get that email and send the docs normally get a Decision made email in 3 days or less. Hopefully by next week this time, you will know what is happening.

I'm still hopelessly waiting ...

No, they won't refuse for that. It's not a problem at all if any of the documents are dated AFTER the online application is submitted. They can be dated any time from 28 days before the online application is submitted right up to the date you mail the documents.

In fact, some people have been known to submit their online application before they've actually gathered the documents... though, of course, we don't recommend doing it that way, just in case you can't get the documents together in time, or they don't quite meet the requirements.

Hey guys,

I saw this in another group regarding bank statements printed after application date. What do you guys think?

For context again, app sent on 28th Nov, bank statements printed and stamped 30th Nov but of course covers the 6 months (we included 7 actually, I think even 8 to be extra safe) period required. Payslips are fine as they are dated on the 28th Nov.

I’ve been fine with it all since your last response @ksand24, but saw this and was like oh man.

In that case you posted, the most recent pay date before the application was more than 28 days prior to the application date, and they included another one paid *after* the application date. They probably should have waited a week to apply using the latter pay slip :( They got the timing wrong and UKVI are sticklers. It has to do with when the pay slips were deposited not when the statements were printed.

The problem is they are RELYING on a payslip dated after the application. As Margo said, had they simply applied a few days later, it wouldn’t be an issue (if this was the only reason for refusal).

Ah understood, this makes sense.

So in regards to my bank statements, I’m okay? My payslips are fine, for sure.

Hi Jac,

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes we sent 7 e-mails, each one corresponding to the bullet points of documents they requests. We only got a auto confirmation of 2/7. I then e-mailed the address to which we had to send to and they confirmed they got all 7. I got my reply within the day I believe. I sent the e-mail around 9:30am in work (UK Time) and late afternoon the same day.

Visa Type: Spouse Visa
Priority Service: Yes
Online app submitted: 8th Nov 2018
Biometrics & docs sent: 13th Nov 2018
Application delivered in NY: 14th Nov 2018
Application received email from Sheffield: 18th Nov 2018
Request for "documents": 13th Dec 2018
Decision made email: 18th Dec 2018
