Great news!

Yes, thank you! Just hoping that it is good news - I'm sure that it is.

@JustJac, was yours just a plain standard decision made email? I think I read that refusals are lengthier with an attachment of the refusal letter...

Also, I love how you refer to the UK as home lol...I don't think I'll ever be able to think of it that way! Probably because Alasdair's parents have made it abundantly clear that I'm not welcome there.  >:(
I’m sorry to hear that his parents aren’t welcoming but I can assure you that there are loads of people in Glasgow who will appreciate you! I’ve never felt more welcome anywhere in the world, Glaswegians are lovely.  :) Not that it’ll make dealing with your in laws any more pleasant, but it may help.

Today is your 30 business days and you already paid them for the email service a couple weeks ago so start bugging the crap out of them! Also, I love how you refer to the UK as home lol...I don't think I'll ever be able to think of it that way! Probably because Alasdair's parents have made it abundantly clear that I'm not welcome there.  >:(
Ohh I’m sorry his parents aren’t trying to make you feel welcome, I’m sure that can’t be easy. Both my and Andy’s parents have passed... your a shining light, maybe once you get settled they will change their minds. We will be visiting Scotland this spring I hope, if y’all are still there maybe we can meet up

You should send a follow up email, and you can possibly escalate today.

I had to resend docs on Friday and my email was that same standard email but had the correct address of SheffieldDocsRequested.RestofWorld@fco.gov.uk  on it. Very strange!
Yes found it strange too, but sent my email twice. Hopefully they have received it, I didnt receive an auto reply. So I'm not sure.

Yes, it was just a standard email. And the same day I got that one of the girls in the FB group got a decision made email but it was long and told her reasons she was denied.

OH MY GOSH - while typing out the email i double checked my email information i provided in the online Visa printout, I have my secondary phone number wrong.... and my primary phone (US phone#) has been turned off..
The email i provided is correct, which I think is more important but I did let them know about the phone number...

I don't think they've ever called anyone, ever.  Nothing to worry about!
