I would also  call VFS and or send them an email, I know they close at 4-30pm and I think they are closed on Monday as its MLK holiday
I thought they kept the passports at the NY scanning hub and put  the vignettes in once they received communication from Sheffield .
Fingers crossed its on its way
Did you email the UKVI ?
Sending lots of good energy your way ...UPS works till late and I think they deliver on weekends.
The letters are dated 1.17, so I assumed they printed those out and did the passports.

My packet came back in such a messy state, no wonder they cant find our documents. They did make copies of the photos I sent.

I really hope someone responds soon.

Hi everyone! New member here...wanted to post my timeline and seek some advice on my situation. Please see timeline below

Married: 15 October 2014
Priority Spouse Online App Submitted: 18 Nov 2018
Biometrics appointment: 23 Nov 2018
Docs sent to NY: 23 Nov 2018

I received the email below from the decision making center yesterday.

They requested proof of priority service and stated that they are awaiting my supporting documents. I have sent all my supporting documents (including the priority service receipt) to the VFS New York scanning hub. Should I be worried about my application at this point? Has this happened in the past? Can someone please shed some light on my situation?

Please excuse any mistakes as using forums is not my forte...

Good luck to all applicants!!!

Good luck to all applicants!!!

They’ve had a lot of teething issues as the switch to NYC is very new.  Almost everyone gets this.

Just upload your documents in an email of no more than 5mg and email them through.  If your email is too big, title them Email 1 of 5, or however many you need.

Welp, we finally got a response - a refusal.

Talking to a lawyer about appealing on Monday, but we're also now considering taking the Surinder Singh route - a year or so together in Malta or Ireland might do us some good!

Do you want to start a new thread and post the wording of your refusal?

Unfortunately SS won’t be an option after Brexit.   :-\\\\

It is very difficult to prove your centre of life for Singh, if you move your  SE to another EEA country and the non-EEA citizens are often getting refused for that.

Plus if there is a Brexit, there is nothing for those already in the UK on Singh under the Withdrawal Bill (a UK/EU free trade deal) as the EU says that these and those on Derived Rights, will be up to the UK.

Sorry about the decision , Malta or Ireland sound wonderful but I hope you get to appeal and get the decision overturned.
