They’ve had a lot of teething issues as the switch to NYC is very new.  Almost everyone gets this.

Just upload your documents in an email of no more than 5mg and email them through.  If your email is too big, title them Email 1 of 5, or however many you need.

If I read correctly, the officer was only requesting proof of priority service . I would be glad if they could find my supporting documents next week as my package was delivered and signed at the UKVI scanning hub. At the time I submitted my application and payments, there was a glitch which only allowed to upload documents and there was no other option to mail the documents so I uploaded a blank document with my GWF number. I do not have copies of some of the documents that I sent. I honestly do not want to go through the process of uploading documents as I had 150+ pages in my package. Maybe I should give them a few days to find out...Is there a way to contact UKVI scanning hub or VFS to find out what happened to my documents?

My package contained the application, passport, photos, supporting documents, etc...How can they only have my application and not any of the other documents? I don't get that

Welp, we finally got a response - a refusal.

Talking to a lawyer about appealing on Monday, but we're also now considering taking the Surinder Singh route - a year or so together in Malta or Ireland might do us some good!

Omg! I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck with your appeal

We are in the same timeline, I never received a document received email either until I paid to ask about it.. at least you know they are looking at your application if they are requesting documents to be resent.. I have mine scanned and ready if they need anything else... good luck

Yes we are! I never got any correspondence after mailing my application as well. I have paid to email them multiple times and also called them last week. My case was escalated via email on Jan 4. I called them specifically to ask if they had all my documents last week and the rep on the phone guaranteed that my application was sitting on a case worker's desk pending review. I had to give the 15 working days and sit tight. There was nothing that I had to do. The inaccuracy of information and incompetence of this process is beyond belief

So you were intending on mailing the documents in but then when you were ready to do so the system would only allow you to upload them? So to fill the space of an upload you just uploaded a blank document with GWF number and proceeded to send in your hard copy documents anyway? Just want to make sure I understand correctly!

So sorry about the rigmarole.

Yes!!! You got that right...there was no choice that I could select to mail the documents so I uploaded a blank document with my GWF number to bypass this step and get to the payment page

That’s what I did too, I uploaded the sponsor letter. I believe several people just uploaded one page to get past that point as well at that time.

Escalations aren’t real.  It’s a third party company that has no actual access to your application.  They continuously give incorrect information.

If all UKVI has requested is proof of priority, that’s all you need to send.  I misread and thought they had asked for documents as well.

Wherever your documents are, they don't seem to be in Sheffield yet and looking at your time line, they should have been scanned there weeks ago.
I understand that you don't want to scan everything but if I were you, that's exactly what I would be doing. But even before that, I would be trying to get my hands on duplicates of the evidence that there is not a copy of.

Guys, before you send your package... make copies of EVERYTHING!!!  With this new system, there is just too much that can go wrong!

Exactly this. We have copies of everything we plan to use as evidence. Granted, we plan to use the self upload service (barring any major issues on their end), but you always want to have backups of everything. VFS is way too good at losing things. :(
Even when life seems at it's most dark and despairing.. there is within the power to make change.

Yeah VFS sound really goofy.

We are hoping to have our Application in one PDF to send in when we pay for priority.

Is there a limit on the upload size? I am sure that the completed document is going to be massive.  Or can you upload multiple docs? Im also planning if all else fails to upload a "Mailing application documents to New York".

If it’s the same as ILR, it’s a 6mb limit on docs (all my docs but old passport were okay) and you upload multiple to different categories..however take that as a pinch of salt because LTR and FLR may vary
