If it’s the same as ILR, it’s a 6mb limit on docs (all my docs but old passport were okay) and you upload multiple to different categories..however take that as a pinch of salt because LTR and FLR may vary

Ah thanks x0Kiss0fDeath, that is so annoying. You wish they at least gave you some forewarning and explanation to have your documents ready etc. What a melt!

Yeah we only knew because I knew I'd need photocopies so started the processes by filling out the form and read about Silveras experience with the new ILR process where they've highlighted the limit so we sort of had the warning. As mentioned, unsure if it'll be the same or different for non-ILR applications, but was definitely 6mb for me so wouldn't have been able to put all my docs into one scan unfortunately (not to mention it needs to be split up for the ILR uploading process into different categories - unsure if you'll have this as well or not).
My, how time flies....

* Married in the US and applied for first spousal visa August 2013
* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019
* Citizenship approved on July 4th 2019
* Ceremony conducted on August 28th 2019

Escalations aren’t real.  It’s a third party company that has no actual access to your application.  They continuously give incorrect information.

If all UKVI has requested is proof of priority, that’s all you need to send.  I misread and thought they had asked for documents as well.

That's all I sent...I hope they find my supporting documents. This is adding unnecessary stress to an already stressful process

Wherever your documents are, they don't seem to be in Sheffield yet and looking at your time line, they should have been scanned there weeks ago.
I understand that you don't want to scan everything but if I were you, that's exactly what I would be doing. But even before that, I would be trying to get my hands on duplicates of the evidence that there is not a copy of.

Guys, before you send your package... make copies of EVERYTHING!!!  With this new system, there is just too much that can go wrong!

I'm getting my documents ready. I will wait a few days to see what Sheffield has to say. Otherwise, I will have to send them via email

I remember it was 10mb max limit per category

Maybe with the normal application they give you more mb than with ILR. I can’t say because I’ve only done the ILR using this digital process (I did paper app for everything else) so was only giving guidance of what ILR limit was as a rough idea

On the bright side, at least we've now received confirmation on why it took so long to process - apparently they handled it as a standard priority application, rather than priority - possibly they mis-queued it when they requested additional information? Our MP is working on getting a refund out of them, so at least we'll hopefully be able to recoup some of the cost for whatever our next steps turn out to be.

Priority is priority.  The only difference with the Gold service is holding onto your passport.
