It seems there has been a backlog, because some of the applications submitted in November and December have been taking 50-60 working days from being received in New York (with the first email received about 20 working days after that).

Lately though, the first email has been sent within 2-3 days and it has been taking around 15-30 days for a decision.

I think, the backlog happened from the switch to NY for scanning. Sadly, I don't think they were prepared or trained on how to handle things. Hence the backlog and all of the emails for additional items from UKVI. :(

Thank you to everyone for all the help - I never would have gotten this done without this forum.

Also - just looked through my documents they sent back, looks like they reorganized things a bit and put it in this order: relationship details, financial, accommodation.

Mid-April for the first time & to pick up BRP, but I have to travel back and forth for a few months due to weddings in both countries and finishing up my life here (packing/selling things... there’s so much to do!)

Pretty much the same as the No package.

Yes package (Visa Approval)
- spousal visa
All your documents plus a visa sticker in your passport and a letter explaining when and where to pick up your BRP

- fiancé visa:
All your documents plus a visa sticker in your passport, and no letter (because there’s no BRP to pick up)

No package (Visa refusal)
- fiancé and spousal visa:
All your documents plus a refusal letter (and no visa in your passport)
