It’s a YES!
they spelled my husbands last name (same as mine) wrong on the vignette. What do I do about that?

Congratulations :D!

You’ll need to get it corrected before you leave the US... which I think will unfortunately mean sending it back to New York for it to be corrected and reissued.

Congrats! Knew it would be of course but nice to have that security now finally.

We're hoping to hear back today or tomorrow to set us up for a relaxing Easter...today is WD20 so fingers crossed. It's also been exactly one month since we last saw each other so hopefully this will be over soon.

Oh.. do I remember those days of waiting and being apart. When my husband was immigrating here, we were apart 11 months. US immigration took forever.
Hoping you hear today!

Super excited for everyone getting their decisions, but also getting super nervous. Our bio was March 7th and I've now heard of quite a few people who applied a week after us getting approvals and we haven't heard anything yet 😬

Maybe it would be worth contacting them/your MP and chasing up? Possible it just slipped through the cracks or they need more info if it isn't straightforward...still, I'd have thought you'd have heard something one way or another by now. Today is WD30 after all!

That is tempting. I'm afraid of contacting them too soon, is 30WD enough time passed? I feel like it's not much time on average, but the fact that most others have been getting a decision at around 22WD is what makes me nervous.

I know the advice is to wait and not contact them but as you say yours is a couple weeks behind. I guess my advice is just do what feels right for you. If it'll make you feel better knowing and just talking about it, it's worth the cost. But if you are fine waiting another week or whatever, maybe it isn't. Everyone's circumstances are different, after all.

Thanks 😊 We decided we'll wait until Tuesday to send an email to the MP's office. We'll try to be patient until after Easter.

AAAAAAAA we just got the Decision Made email!!!! Going to be a nervous couple of days as we get the visa sent back...21WD...fingers (and everything) crossed it's a yes!

I can't imagine we would have messed up badly enough that they wouldn't even contact us, right? It should be straightforward enough...I hope...we will know soon

Congrats to all who have been approved recently. Been MIA as we are trying to get things wrapped up here. House is on the market but no offers yet :( Hoping we can get it under contract before we go. We fly out the 30th. Cats will fly out the same day. :) Going to miss our house here but can't wait to get hubby home.
Even when life seems at it's most dark and despairing.. there is within the power to make change.
