Hi all, after weeks of silence we received the settlement visa today. We had no emails confirming receipt or that a decision had been made, it just turned up in the post. The UPS tracking label wasn't activated either so no UPS tracking exists.

I realise that not hearing anything is a pain, but it was processed within 30WD.

Married: 15/03/2019
Submitted online application: 08/04/2019
Biometrics: 22/04/2019
Documents sent to NY:22/04/2019
Documents successfully delivered in NY (according to FedEx): 23/04/2019
Decision and Passport received: 29/05/2019

Wow - congratulations!!  I'm so glad it worked out.

Did it arrive via UPS or through the post office?

Thanks! It arrived via UPS, using the return shipping label we included in the pack. The tracking on the label was never activated though, and it's status is still 'Shipment Ready for UPS'.

Still no passport or tracking. My husband called the helpline and the guy said this is not the first time they've heard this about the New York office, but that he can see a decision was made on the 26th and it should be to us in five working days. So I guess we'll see how Monday goes. Is it overdramatic to call the MP if we still haven't heard anything by Tuesday? It's also weird that now two people have said the decision was made on the 26th, but I got the email on the 23rd.

I hope you hear something soon @Mmmkay, as if the initial wait isn't painful enough! I've seen a few times on different forums people have had to wait a few days for their documents to get back, hopefully yours will arrive soon!

The payslip was definitely in there, as I got two chances to check the contents due to the a shipping error and having to resend.  :P So I guess there was some technical difficulty between NY and Sheffield. I am so glad I scanned in and saved copies of everything to my computer because I was able to email them them the scans within an hour.

I could only find one recent example of this email on here so I’m really hoping this won’t offset my application, and I will be receive a decision made email soon. At least I know they’ve began their assessment!
