Heard back from MP and it's exactly what we had feared - they were told my application is being processed as standard. Don't know if they got that info before or after I was told that it had been "adjusted accordingly" but I'm so pissed off. Will definitely be seeking a refund on the priority fee once this is all over.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope they put you on the top of the pile now.  I also hope that you are able to get a refund.
Good luck.

As they've admitted fault, you should be able to get a refund without too much fuss.  You'll likely need your MP to request that they refund it and it'll likely take awhile (a few months).  But definitely do fight for it!

I’m really sorry about that.this whole process is horribly managed. We deserve a visa just through attrition at this point. >:(

I can only imagine that the same thing happened to my visa. I emailed my MP last week so I hope it gets set on the right track as well.
I hope they admit fault so I can push for a refund as well!

I'm certain whoever had our applications on June 7 didn't know what they were doing when it came to priority applications. I'm willing to bet we're not the only ones... Still haven't heard anything today (day three after the supposed 'escalation'). I'm going to email them tonight, the last option. Our MP is supposedly working on it too. I just want this to be over ..

Received the "a decision has been made" email half an hour ago. Good news? Not going to start popping bottles until passport is in hand!

That isn’t actually that bad for a priority app in the Summer, is it?

Yay!  Our UPS shipment was sent the day after we got this email.  It was sent on a Friday and we received it on Monday.

Fingers crossed for a positive result!

We got an email back about my spouse visa from the MP saying:

Quote
...We spoke with one of our contacts at UK Visas & Immigration today and they advise us that the last record they have is on 25/7/19
and it seems that they are doing final security checks on [name's] application.
We do hope that [name] receives the decision soon and we would be grateful if you would let us know when she receives her visa.
If we can be of further assistance on this or any other issue, please don't hesitate to contact us...

I really hope that this means that I will get my passport back soon!
And if they are bothering to do security checks that seems to me like an APPROVAL :D Unless that's the first thing they do :P
I feel like a huge weight has been taken off my chest.

How long does it usually take for it to be mailed out? Still waiting for tracking to show it's been shipped. The anticipation is killing me. Got the decision made email early Wednesday morning.

My UPS tracking never updated and two days later as I was getting home the UPS guy was also getting to my house. And I also paid extra for the next day delivery and didn’t receive it next day and it wasn’t a weekend. Hope this helps you! I feel like you could get it today! Good Luck!
