So of course I received an email today! I just want to confirm that this is the right one though. It doesn’t specify that they have received our supporting documents, and just provides info on how to send them if we haven’t...

This section specifically:

Thank you for your online application which has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre.  Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.

PLEASE NOTE: This email is to acknowledge receipt of your Settlement application, if you or your UK sponsor have not already submitted your supporting documentation please ensure you follow the process listed below: UKVI is unable to consider your application without these documents.

Your sponsor or an agent can submit supporting documents in the UK at various locations in person for a fee of £75 per application, payable in cash or with a debit card. For these locations please refer to:

https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/pk/en/news/new-address-for-documentation-when-applying-for-a-uk-settlement-visa

Thank you all again!!

Thanks, I hope it comes through soon too as it is getting a bit stressful waiting lol. That seems to be just a standard email response regarding the documents. As long as you sent your supporting evidence when you mailed them then you are fine!! Good luck with your application and hope it is successful.

Congratulations on being successful 😁

Still waiting on our decision and applied  online 14th August priority. Emailed them, said priority don’t guarantee an answer in X days, but they said they would Escalate it on the 8th October and should hear in 15 WD. I won’t hold out much hope.

How frustrating!! Hopefully now that it’s been escalated things will move quickly. Wishing you good news very soon!

Hi acharris, just wanted to let you know we are in the exact same boat. We also applied on August 14, paid priority as well.

Biometrics: Aug 19
Received in NY (UPS tracking): Aug 21
"Prepared for consideration" email: Sept 6
30 day call to UKVI: Sept 30-no decision had been made, but said they would escalate it
Emailed MP's office: Oct 11

Today got the response email from UKVI stating that they have worked on my application, but are 'waiting on the return of information' and can't give me a timeline for completion-which is concerning as they haven't asked me for any additional info and I sent in a really comprehensive, complete packet. I've told our MP's office about this, we will see what happens.

Thanks for you reply. It is frustrating. We emailed on 7th October to be told on the 8th that it will be escalated, but have heard nothing back yet. Told us within 15 WD from the 8th, but will look to email my local MP if nothing tomorrow. Thanks again for the reply and hope we both hear something soon from this.

It is SUPER frustrating. When I called on the 30th, they said they would escalate, but didn't tell me I couldn't do anything for 15WD after that...so I spent money following up with a phone call on the 11th, and was just told to 'wait longer-it hasn't been 15 days'.

The email today said it was the response to my first call on the 30th. I'm just concerned with what 'information' they are waiting on, since I've not been asked for anything else. We will see what the MP can find out-according to past people on forums they tend to find out more than we can. I will post an update when I hear something.

Hopefully you hear something soon too!

They are just paying lip service when they say they are escalating, it really doesn't mean anything. If UKVI wanted to request more information from you, they would do that.

I hope you get your decision soon.

Ok well after an email on Monday saying our application was processed as standard instead of Priority, and said they would move it to priority and get a decision made ASAP. Well today we had the decision made email, and a bit nervous as the decision was so quick after being escalated.

There was no denial attachment or any attached files, so I don't know if this is a reason to be quietly optimistic while waiting for her documents to be mailed back to find out 100% or not, but it is a very stressful time waiting. 49 Working days since online application, will put my full timeline when I know the answer.

Hoping we get the package soon soon we can re-book her flight for as soon as possible

Just an quick update:

We had our visa back today...and it was Approved!!!!!!! So next Thursday I will be getting her from the airport and won't have to say goodbye in a few weeks. I would to thank everyone on this forum for the advice as without it there would have been no way we could have done it without the great people here. So thanks again.

Hi all,

My application arrived in New York on October 11 (according to UPS tracking). I have yet to receive any sort of confirmation e-mail.  It seems like most people have received some type of confirmation within two weeks. I am not sure if I should be concerned yet or continue to be patient.

Thanks!
