Exciting!
They need to put the visa in the passport, so NY should get in touch with you to instruct you to return it. But if you have a way of contacting them, I'd get on it so that there is no chance of them dropping the ball at this stage and keeping you waiting longer than is necessary.
Good luck!
I decided based on that Sheffield email to make my way to the VFS office in Manhattan New York, as I tried to locate any possible number or email. I did find an email but I don’t know if it worked because as I was getting ready to leave my home in the afternoon I noticed an email from the exact email I had sent it to earlier, and it was a generic email that stated “ Dear Applicant,
We would like to invite you back into our office with your passport to have your vignette affixed, this will complete your visa process with us.
Please let us know when is a convenient time for you to come in and do so, within five (5) business days of this email. We are open Monday- Friday from 8a.m to 5p.m.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.”
Fingers crossed it was too good to be true but I got everything ready that I thought would come in Use at the office and once there told them I received an email about bringing my passport. The VFS rep asked for my name and took my passport. Within 15 minutes of waiting I was called back to the front desk and was made to sign a document, and then told to verify if everything in my passport and the documents.
Visa vignette was affixed and the decision letter and other copies of documents were given to me. Sigh of relief, tears of joy, the long wait is over, All praise to The Almighty.
Can’t believe it. Thank you to everyone who has wished good fortune and to all who are awaiting their own decisions, may you all have good fortune!
Can’t believe it! 31 working days it took, after two refusals, and nine long years of come and go separation, I get a chance to unite with my family on a permanent basis.
