It is the last 6 calendar months I believe. You may want to start a new thread with the details so the more experienced folks can help you figure it out. I'm so sorry you've received that news, but as long as you do qualify on the past 6 or 12 months income you can reapply quickly.

I'm so sorry! This process sucks but the pros on here seem to know it forwards and backwards... I'm sure they'll be able to help!

So sorry Mrspratt29.  :-\\\\  As suggested, please start a new thread with a little bit of background and also include the wording of the refusal letter. Kfdancer always answers the maternity leave questions and Ksand is brilliant at interpreting the letters! You'll be back on track soon, don't worry!  :)

So sorry to hear that, Mrspratt29 :(.

Yeah, they should take into account the 6 months before going on maternity leave.

If you can start a new thread and post your letter of refusal, omitting personal details (either typed out in the reply box or scanned/photographed and uploaded), we can take a look and see what the reasons for refusal were and how you can fix them :).

Oh no!  Yes, they are supposed to take the six months before you went on maternity leave.  Start a new thread and we'll get you through it!

Sorry to hear about the news Mrspratt29!  :( Hopefully you'll work something out!

Is there any correlation between applications taking longer and getting refused?
