It's been pretty quiet since mid-December. I feel like we've only seen a small number of decisions come through since then.

This time last year, applications made in December and early Jan were generally taking a few weeks... it didn't speed up until the end of Jan.


Some examples:

I just got my decision e-mail on the 11th!!! I can't believe how fast it was!

I am on the 38th business day of wait (applied from France), and every day I get more and more upset. What frustrates me most is the inability to plan anything...

Today I made another enquiry at UKVI website for the status of my application (never received a response for the previous two). I know that it is probably another waste of money, but I just need to do something about that...
