Who knows, maybe they will be popping in here!

American girl marries English boy.  I feel like I've heard of another couple like that before...   ;D

It's exciting.  I wonder if we'll get a bank holiday for the wedding?  I'm guessing not, as Harry isn't going to be king.  But I'm still hopeful!

How long 'til the spouse/marriage visa process gets streamlined now that the royal family will become aware of what it's like.

Oh, wait.  They won't.  They have people to take care of all that for them.

What do you think he'll show for adequate accommodation?  The financials, I assume, will be savings route.  Does he have a passport?  Someone said at least the queen doesn't, I thought.
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued

The Queen is the only one without a passport.  The rest have them.

For accommodation, I imagine the Queen will write a letter describing the property (a part of Kensington Palace), assuring it won't be over crowded, along with the land registry.   ;) ;) ;) ;)   Heee heee heee ;)

hehe  It would be amusing if they had to do it all themselves, and they didn't get any sort of special treatment.  I would love to see them going through all the same trials and tribulations that we do, with the doubts and the headscratching... I mean, my husband and I knew we were fine from the start, but it's still a somewhat challenging process ensuring you've got all the I's dotted and T's crossed.

Fiance visa, or marriage visitor visa? And Harry doesn't work, so I guess it will ultimately be the cash savings route?  ;D :P :D

I'm really interested to see how the whole visa process works out for her. Does she need to be a citizen to have a title? If she does, I will be so annoyed if she gets a pardon on the visa process.

I don't think she needs to be a citizen to get a title - American actress A. J. Langer, who played Rayanne on My So-Called Life, is the Countess of Devon due to her marriage to the 19th Earl of Devon (though she didn't gain the title of Countess until her father-in-law, the 18th Earl, died in 2015 and her husband became the 19th Earl).

According to Wikipedia, they married in LA in 2004 and didn't relocate to London until 2014, and they took up the family seat at Powderham Castle in 2015, after her father-in-law passed away (which is weird because my university summer and graduation balls were held at Powderham Castle).

Isn't Prince Harry in the Army?  At least as a Reservist?  Maybe he'd make the £18,600 threshold that way ... ;)

Seems to be quite 'a thing', marrying an American...

I wonder how long it will take HER to get her fiancé visa from UK Visas and Immigration?! I bet it's faster than the 38 BD it took us! 🤔 ::)  Maybe she is 'exempt' from such things. Some daft law from 1182 or something!

He was in the army (some of my colleagues knew him), but he left in 2015 after 10 years of service.

I always knew Harry would marry a black woman. I LOVE them together and wish them a lifetime of happiness and peace!!! Well done!
