Husband just dug out MOST of his old Star Wars Lego from his mum's loft when we went to get the Christmas decorations we had stored. He was FUMING because somebody had been allowed to play with it and had taken some of them apart (probably his nieces/nephew well over 10 years ago).
My, how time flies....

I want to laugh at this childish behaviour from a grown man, but I likely would've done the same.  People just don't understand:)

I feel soooo oooooooollllddddd.

I remember standing in line one afternoon in Lubbock, Texas, in 1977 as a grown-ars* adult, waiting for the first movie. There was almost no advertising about it, but word of mouth was that you had to see it. For the "ooooh" factor when they jumped to light speed, if nothing else.

I still have the vinyl LP of the soundtrack bought shortly thereafter.

Went to see it this morning at the 9.45am showing.  There were 6 of us in the cinema - none of which were children.  We went to the 3D version so sat there with our Roy Orbison glasses on.

I've never really rated 3D - but this was great.  Loved it.

Hubby only nodded off a couple of times and didn't snore - so that is an achievement.

Probably no kids as paying to take kids to a 3D would break the bank! LOL 2D is expensive enough now adays! Not a massive fan of 3D but would take it if it was my only option. I just don't think the pay off is worth the price hike.

Did you enjoy it?! :)

I agree with you - always felt that 3D was overhyped.  But really could see the difference in this film.

Mondays are two for the price of one in our cinema so if we ever go, it will be on a Monday.  We are so lucky because we can walk to the cinema.  We did a bit of shopping, although hubby is not the best person to go shopping with.  Had a potter about and walked back home at 3pm ish.  My little ears and nose had been thoroughly nipped by Jack Frost.

And, forgot to add, loved the film.  Some of the Star Wars films have been so disappointing.  This one I enjoyed.

Glad to hear it.  We haven't been yet because the Odeon isn't doing the cheap Monday showings for Star Wars and I'm too cheap to pay full price for an afternoon show. ::)

I'm not watching a movie about meerkats no matter how cheap it is.

Love Meerkats!  I don't think they work long hours as they seem to have plenty of time to go the the cinema. And they have amazing language skills - they speak English with only a trace of an accent.

In fairness, I think they are eccentric billionaires LOL
