The Dark Ages for me.....one month either side of the darkest day. Doesn't get much darker in the first month....doesn't get much lighter in the second month. So in my head.....just over another month of Winter.
Well.....at least it isn't getting darker in the evenings any more. We get a minute back in the evening on the 19th.....unfortunately still losing in the mornings until Christmas. I'm a morning person....getting up in the dark, and then waiting around for a while in the dark before I can go out and do things just......annoys me. The dark evenings aren't as bad.....less of an effect on my day. I don't get down like some people.....a guy I used to work with was diagnosed with Seasonal Disorder and had lamps at home to deal with it. But.....hard to complain too much I guess....I'm not working so I at least get to go out and about during the day instead of going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark like it used to be.
