Already?  You're so close...!  :)

I'm still more than a month away from booking my appointment, but I think I'm all set with everything.  All we have left to do is get the bank statements, collect the remaining payslips between now and the appointment, and add the most recent time-block's jointly-addressed correspondence to the stack when we get it (our council tax bill should be coming soon, right?).
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

Feels more like.. finally!   ;)

I seem to be going through a lot of emotions. I was actually a little tearful as I drove to the bank, thinking of all that's happened since starting this. Five years is a long time!  8)

Good point!  But I meant since booking... which I now realize you did a few weeks ago (well before my husband's holiday last week).  When I saw that you had your bank statements I thought, "but you only just made your appointment...".

I completely understand that!  It's amazing, isn't it?  My life is so different now to what it was 6 years ago (I hadn't even met my husband in person yet in February of 2012!).  Plus, the relief I'll feel when this hurdle is behind us... I imagine it will be immense.

Yeah, it's been a while since then so from that point of view it also feels like...finally!  ;D

The relief, alone, could make me cry.  You know that cathartic cry you do after a stressful event passes?  Like, you deal with it, and you deal with it, and you deal with it, and then when you can finally relax, you utterly break.

Well done! Are you anxious? Is your husband anxious? This is it! No more visas!

In-person is awesome (I've only done one, mind you)... getting your decision in a couple of hours, rather than a couple of months is such a relief!  Let us know as soon as you know!

Will do!

My biggest concern at the moment is actually getting there, with all this weather on the way!  :o

The in person is worth it, in that it's done in a day.  But I've always been plagued with system issues and therefore 6-8 hour waits.  That part is UBER annoying.  But then it's DONE and you (kind of) forget about the wait.

Do you have to go far? We live in London and went to Croydon, but even so,  we stayed in a hotel the night before!
