Tastes just like Fritos

We bought some of these the other day

And I was surprised to find they taste exactly like Fritos!  They are bigger than normal Fritos, which is fine with me.

Not sure if you can buy them here, but next time I go to France I'm bringing some back.

They look similar in size to Fritos Scoops, but less scoopy.

Man... I used to get those and a tin of Frito's Bean Dip... I didn't like Frito's, but pair it with the bean dip, and they were awesome.

How does the texture compare?  The look pretty thick, and that's what I miss about Fritos.

The texture is lovely, super thick.

Sorry, I just accidently reported your post as inappropriate.  Hope you don't get in trouble.  I was just thinking of Fritos and punching buttons and the next thing I knew you were reported.

I was amazed last time I had Fritos that they were just corn, corn oil, and salt for ingredients. 
Now I want Fritos and I can't get them easily nor apparently, French Old El Paso tortilla strips...... :\\\'(

Just went on the old El paso UK website.  No tortilla strips to be found but they did have this abomination :


What the hell is that?  Looks like pringles and named after the native people of Avatar.  KFDANCER, renounce your citizenship now!

Does anyone remember Wild 'n' Mild Ranch flavour Fritos? I used to love those.

In other news, you can get Fritos at American Fizz, both regular and Scoops. And the honey barbecue, which though not even close to the Wild 'n' Mild Ranch, is still pretty tasty.

Just ordered 5 bags of them in my Tesco order arriving on Tuesday!

Thank you Jimbo... never dreamed we could get these here!  And even if I had seen them in the store, the fact they are labelled 'tortilla strips' would have made me walk on by, because that description sounds nothing like the wondrous glory of a Frito!
