I am the Brit, Hubby the American.
We arrived last June and so are collecting everything for our FLR in a couple of years time. I want to get it right from the beginning and not have to scrabble around just before we submit documents.
My British passport is in my maiden name.
I am getting all bills etc on paper.
Some of the bills have my husbands name.
Some have both our names with mine being my maiden name.
Some are addressed to Mr and Mrs and use his surname.
I am trying to get most things in both names, which will include by maiden name.
I am hoping that the production our marriage certificate should prove the "Mrs" is me.
Advice please.
