So sorry for your loss, lyonaria.  Glad that you were able to take some time for yourself.  Does your company offer any form of compassionate leave?  I really hope things pick up for you.

Seriously, thanks guys. It's just everything is happening at once. And it's so rough.

They do, but I don't know if it covers grandparents. She was the third member of my dad's family to die the last 9 months. I didn't take time for my grandpa a few months ago. Just left a little bit early.

* Married in the US and applied for first spousal visa August 2013
* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019
* Citizenship approved on July 4th 2019
* Ceremony conducted on August 28th 2019

Hey hey!

Thanks for thinking of me KOD. It was rough yesterday. Everything happened. *Sigh* But a lot better today.

I think it went really well. I wasn't super well spoken, unfortunately. And definitely not great when I was chatting with his son. *Facepalm* but I hope I didn't shoot myself in the foot too bad. I was nervous. I'm to call on my lunch break on Monday since I'm not as easy to get ahold of.
