@KFdancer in Miami. I know where to get the marriage license, but don’t know what to do after. The wedding organiser provides us only with keepsake marriage certificate

I suspect one of two things can happen:

1.  The person who performs the marriage mails in the signed copies and then you can request a copy after a few weeks from the courthouse.

2.  You can return the certificate in person and get copies on the spot.

Give them a call!  :)

I applied in July 2017 for an unmarried partner visa from Moscow. I also did not submit Life Skills test and submitted IELTS Academic (overall score was eight). My test certificate was accepted!

On that application we were rejected based on financial evidence (we qualify but dates on our bank statements were wrong), so we reapplied in November as priority, still waiting for the decision. I submitted the same IELTS Academic certificate as the first time and now am terrified for the outcome. The visa officers' incompetency is outrageous.

@RussianLady, how are you doing? Any news regarding your visa application? I am preparing a new application with NARIC certificate, but still interested to know whether they accept IELTS for UKVI now or not...
