I was sitting on the couch when I took this picture.  That's my ice maker on the floor.

What I wouldn't do for your cabinets!  So pretty!

You can have them. I'm trading them in for more floor and counter space.

This was what it looked like when we moved in.  Discovered the old (awful) backsplash was tiled over a previous backsplash...

And our neighbors redid their kitchen (same original cabinets) so we were able to add an upper cabinet to the left of the window.  :)

I have that fruit yikes but only difference is mine is EVERYWHERE ! Lol why?

My kitchens not nice by any means, we live in an older house but we used to have one about your size and it was a must have for me to have one big enough to have a table to eat at. Only downside is we lost a ton of upper cabinet area and have an ugly shelf to serve as our “pantry”.

Lots of counter space but ugly fruit tiles and our ‘lovely’ food shelf. I miss having a real pantry. What I would kill to have a kitchen refurb

I had that fruit (or maybe it was sheaves of wheat) in one of my old houses.  Just ugly.  There's special tile paint you can get -- I painted the tiles, and changed the handles on the unit doors/drawers and lived happily with that kitchen for many years!

Why the fruit?!? Ugh!

But you have soooooo much counter space!  No corner of doom in your kitchen.   :D

I truly don’t understand British home decor i have an awful purple kettle ( I like purple but not in my kitchen) and OH won’t let me buy a new one because “there’s nothing wrong with it”

Should note the kettle I inherited from my OH’s bachelor pad that he got from god knows where. Probably a clearance aisle somewhere

Sadly mines not even shiny but our toaster is shiny purple! I like the toaster even though it doesn’t match, but the kettle is dull like the finish is off and scratched up .

I would love a red white and black kitchen. But seeing as we’re in a rental I’m trying to match the cabinets and tile that we have.
