Hello. My name is Amy and I'm a US wife to a UK husband. I've just completed my first year as a transplant, just south of London.
I am quite happy here, though I can honestly say I really had no idea what I was getting myself into at the beginning of all of this! Being so far away from family, friends, and everything 'comfortable' that I took for granted has given me an interesting perspective on myself.
I have a great group of coworkers turned friends, and that's really helped with the transition.
