Okay good to know!

For the Appendix 2 form..

The question- "Have you lived with your sponsor?" what are they expecting me to say here? Clearly, we can't live together being from two different countries. I have visited him for a long period on a tourist visa. Should I say that I have in this section or should i say "‘Unable to visit for longer than 6 months as was in the UK on a tourist visa?" Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Answer that you have not lived with your sponsor because neither of you had a visa which permitted you to live in the other's country. You were just visiting.

Okay cool. I will put that then.

For messages, I know the content shouldn't be included. Should I just blur out the messages then?

Also, my husband is renting his house. We have a letter from the landlord saying I can live with him. Does he need a letting agreement or something else to prove?

Thanks again!

Yes, you need the original lease or letting agreement as well as the letter from the landlord granting you permission to live there.

I would crop them out, so you're just left with the name, date and time. You should then be able to get a list/block of about 30 messages on a page in Word, and I'd send 2-3 pages at most.

Okay, great. I just edited everything. Thank goodness I've had the same phone since we've started dating!

We are getting SO close to submitting. I'm just waiting on the letting agreement from my husband that we will triple check everything and make a note of everything we have!

Hi again, another question  :)

Going over the online application, for the last part- Additional Information. Should I leave this blank like the other appendix 2 form? Let me know your thoughts! -C

You can use it for any answer that you didn't have enough room for earlier or to explain something which you would like to elaborate on. If you have nothing like that, then just leave it blank.

Hi there,

Question about the online application. I asked this before but my husband seems to think this section is about him not me. We were fighting about it haha but we don't want this to be the reason why we are refused so please help!!

It is in the "family details section", first part of the page

On the top it says "spouse/Partner" It asks marital status, is spouse traveling with you, passport info, nationality, names, DOB, are they living with you, and adress

The part that's confusing is that when it says "family name" under it says (if YOU only have one name) and "forename" (it says if THEY only have one name)

Is this about my sponsor/husband??

Then the next section is about my father/mother, so I put in my details. That's correct, right?

Thank you!!

This is confusing because either way, we are repeating either my information or my sponsor's/ husbands. Please help with the above question  :)

You do have to repeat that info, since your sponsor is your husband in this case (which is not always the case!) I know it seems a little weird but that's why

I just went back to my application to double check and yes, it is. Sorry I was a little unclear.

The way some of the questions and things are written is confusing and there are some weird mistakes.   ???

Thank you for going back to your application and checking, that means a lot. I can now tell my husband he was right. He will love that haha!

Yes, it was very confusing but I'm SO glad we are triple checking everything  :)

Thanks again -C

No problem at all! I know the stress of this visa. And triple checking is DEFINITELY good. I googled almost everything on the visa because it seems like some questions are trying to trick you! (Although they never are :) )
