Thank you!

Also, quick question. How will they know its priority? Is that through UPS/Fed Ex etc?

When you do your online application you'll be prompted to use the courier service provided through the VFS Global website. (through UPS) There, you purchase your shipping label, return shipping label and priority. Once you pay for priority, you'll be sent an e-mail with the receipt. Put that receipt ON TOP of your documents. After that, write "Priority Processing" in black marker or something noticeable on the package. That way, they'll see you're priority and put your package in the Priority queue. Once your package is opened by the Home Office, they need to see that receipt on top to prove you didn't just write priority on the package to be looked at first.

So I already went through my online application. I'm just about to pay for it, did I miss the priority button then? or will it come after?

No. The priority service is purchased through the VFS global website as is the shipping... but... I was just going to link you to the right place but the website seems to have changed pretty drastically and I can't make any sense of it now.

Okay, does anyone else know the actual link? I want to make sure I buy the right thing for priority. Or let me know if it comes up on the online application.

Oh they have changed it. But it’s here: https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/us/en/premium-services toward the bottom of the page. Settlement priority package  :)

The application instructions should include the correct link. You don't have to purchase it the same day you submit the app, just need to before you send it in at UPS. (within 5 days of biometrics) So don't panic! You have a small bit of time to get the shipping labels and pay for the priority processing.

Wow, seems like they are trying to push the gold service!

This is the one you want :) (if the picture didn't go through, the $793 one - Priority Visa for settlement migration service)

But when you click through on that settlement priority service, looks like you have to go though one of the service centres anyway? Really not liking this new set up.  :(

Looks like after you do that it takes you back to the old site... Really weird, and poorly designed. :(

Hideous!  >:(  I thought the old site was bad but I would be glad to be able to get back to it now! How did you manage, did it just re-direct you?.. I'm still stuck on this new monstrosity!

I remember when I posted about it, the links were all sent to me and I was so confused, it was a nightmare. When I was doing the online application, I happened to notice the VFS link at the bottom somewhere. I clicked it, and ended up purchasing priority and my labels before I had even completed the application.

They don't make it easy...

I chose the bottom option, with the NY processing site just randomly chosen. Then when it was added to the cart, I went there and chose that I already applied. From there it took you to the page where you picked that you're a US resident applying for a settlement visa and it defaults to Sheffield for the processing center. After that it asked for the app details so I didn't go further.

Oh, let me not forget to add that when I paid it loaded and loaded and loaded....and then a big red circle came up on screen and said "payment refused" I started crying. Had to call my bank and ask why it was declined, they said everything was fine on their end. Turns out it was my ad-blocker that had disrupted the payment. Make sure you turn anything like that off! Fire walls, etc. If your payment is refused, it makes you wait 30 minutes to try again. 30 minutes of absolute hell.
